Over 17,700 Italian tourists visited Uzbekistan in First Half of 2024

According to preliminary data from the State Statistics Committee, Uzbekistan welcomed 17,700 Italian tourists between January and June 2024.

This figure represents an increase of 9,300 people, or 91%, compared to the same period of last year.

The breakdown of Italian visitors to Uzbekistan in the first half of 2024 is as follows:

  • Tourism: 16,088 people
  • Business: 835 people
  • Visiting relatives: 702 people
  • Education: 66 people
  • Commercial: 9 people
