Tashkent to host the international tourism fair “Tourism on the Silk Road” TITF-2023

  From 15 to 17 November 2023, the 28th Tashkent International Tourism Fair “Tourism on the Silk Road” (TITF-2023) will be held in Tashkent. The organizers of the fair are the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Committee of Tourism, the State Unitary Enterprise "National PR Center", Team & Co Group. The general partner of TITF-2023 was Uzbekistan Airways JSC. The pavilion of the National Exhibition Complex “UzExpoCenter” has traditionally been chosen as the venue for the fair. The Tashkent International Tourism Fair is the largest information event that promotes tourism products and establishes business contacts and connections for cooperation. Lonely Planet named Uzbekistan the best tourist destination

  During the international travel exhibition "World Travel Mart", held in London on 6-8 November, First Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Tourism Jamshid Abdusalamov was awarded a special certificate in connection with the victory in the nomination "Uzbekistan - the best travel destination" for 2024. The certificate was presented by the vice-president of one of the most famous tourist publications in the world "Lonely Planet" Tom Brody.   Uzbekistan is located in the central part of Central Asia, between two great rivers - the Amudarya and the Syrdarya. A combination of plains and mountains characterizes the country landscape. The plateau Ustyurt, the old bed of the river Amudarya, the Kyzylkum desert, Karshy steppe are mixed here with Western Tienshan, Ugam, Chatkal, Turkestan, Zarafshan Mountain Ranges and fertile valleys of the Ferghana and Samarkand Basin. As an independent state Uzbekistan appeared on the world map on the 1st September 1991 as a result of the separation from USSR. Uzbekistan played an important role in the history of the Central Asia: it was a part almost all big empires existed on this part of Central Asia.

  In accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On measures to create favorable conditions for the development and rehabilitation of the tourism sector in the Republic of Uzbekistan", the Regulation "On the procedure for providing accommodation services in the Republic of Uzbekistan" was approved. According to the State Unitary Enterprise "Certification Center for Tourist Services", according to paragraph 5, hotel services must be provided regardless of the place of permanent residence, citizenship, family and marriage relations of individuals, as well as other factors that limit the right to privacy. It should be noted that business entities providing hotel services should develop their own internal requirements in hotels that do not contradict the requirements of the Regulation. And also, by the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan from 19 June 2017 No. 389, the national drive
