The provision of hotel services does not require a permanent place of residence and a marriage certificate in Uzbekistan
In accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On measures to create favorable conditions for the development and rehabilitation of the tourism sector in the Republic of Uzbekistan", the Regulation "On the procedure for providing accommodation services in the Republic of Uzbekistan" was approved.
According to the State Unitary Enterprise "Certification Center for Tourist Services", according to paragraph 5, hotel services must be provided regardless of the place of permanent residence, citizenship, family and marriage relations of individuals, as well as other factors that limit the right to privacy.
It should be noted that business entities providing hotel services should develop their own internal requirements in hotels that do not contradict the requirements of the Regulation.
And also, by the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan from 19 June 2017 No. 389, the national driver's license of the new sample was given the status of an official state identity document (clause 6).
In this regard, hotels and other accommodation facilities are not entitled to refuse to provide hotel services upon presentation of a new national driver's license, referring to the lack of a civil passport.
